About the Shrine

A Rose's Roots

Hello, Kai here! Back in late 2018, I started writing Rumor Has It as a means to explore Gentaro's character against someone who invokes a different side of him—and here we are at 40+ fics, numerous fanarts, and now this web shrine! I didn't at all anticipate to be this deep into HifuGen, but they've been a great source of inspiration to me and have constantly pushed me as a creative for nearly a decade. Needless to say, they've earned a special place in my heart. My love for HifuGen thus manifests in many different ways, with Golden Rose Shrine being just one of them! I love them so much I wanted to create a space where everyone can love them too.

Golden Rose Shrine celebrates any and all portrayals of HifuGen. Though HifuGen's canon interactions may be few, there's so much you can do with them. There is an interpretation for each of us who enjoys HifuGen, and I think that's as beautiful as they are. My hope in making this shrine is that people will be able to appreciate them more, in whatever form that may be.
